Michael Sahn Attends the Burton Awards for Legal Achievement

     Founding partner Michael Sahn traveled to Washington, D.C. on June 11th to attend The Burton Awards for Legal Achievement. In its thirteenth year, The Burton Awards recognizes and rewards legal scholarship, writing and achievements in the law by partners and counsel from the nation�s law firms, members of the Judiciary and legal educators. The honoree of this year�s awards was Justice John Paul Stevens (retired). A new segment of this years program, �Point/Counterpoint,� featured a spirited debate between two distinguished attorneys on the Health Care Mandate in advance of the United States Supreme Court�s historical ruling on the Affordable Care Act.      The Firm is honored to welcome distinguished attorneys Wayne G. Edwards and Brian S. Stolar, who have joined the Firm as Partners.  We also welcome Joseph Bjarnson who has become a litigation associate with the Firm.

     Mr. Edwards concentrates his practices in the areas of zoning and land use planning and real estate law and transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing and financing. His practice includes representation of many of our regions� most prominent real estate owners and developers.

     Mr. Stolar concentrates his practice in the areas of zoning and land use planning, real estate development, municipal law, and litigation. He represents private property owners and municipalities, and appears regularly before municipal boards in connection with land use applications.

     Joseph Bjarnson, was previously associated with Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, where he concentrated his practice in commercial litigation.
